The South Side of the River

  1. It’s been ages since I’ve been somewhere that allows smoking indoors. Honestly, I didn’t even know it was still done. It is interesting to see how different cultures congregate. I was fascinated by the plethora of men in blue suits who at midday were all around outdoor cafes with a beer in the financial district of London (I think that’s what area they said…I was on a bus tour).

  2. I’m from L.A. where smoking is pretty much banned everywhere (Yay!) but I’m currently in Arkansas. I wanted to go to the local pub that is serving some really delicious looking French food, believe it or not, but they allow smoking so, no thanks. Outside on a patio is bearable, but not inside. Blech.
