What’s it all about ?

I’m sitting in the dark of the junk room at home, the soft glow of the computer screen lighting my fingers as they dance over the keyboard. I sat down to write a blog post an hour ago, and don’t have anything to show for it.

Sometimes I look back at the trail of blog posts that stretch into the distant past, and wonder how I came to write them all – how I kept going – emptying my head – day after day – week after week – month after month.

I wonder what future generations will do with my words? Will they be printed and kept, or will they vanish into the ether as the various online accounts they reside in expire ?

Will these words endure, or will they quietly drift away ?

  1. Things I’ve contemplated

And decided that maybe they won’t leave a footprint exactly like you wrote them but they leave an impression of some sort on anyone whose read them. Your mark was made

  2. The words will always be just what they are. Words, and the words themselves will be unimportant. What will remain, I’d imagine, is the energy within them: the tiredness, the pain, the joy, the anticipation. Others will feel it all, whether they’re aware of it or not, and when they feel it, your words will hold up a mirror to their lives to show them whatever they need to see about themselves. Usually it will be something they’ve missed. Well, that’s what I think, anyway. But this, of course, is coming from a girl that feels the energy of the earth, and tells her own blogging community that it feels a bit like chocolate cake. I’ll let you use your discernment as to whether you talk on anything the nutter girl just said. 😉 x
